Happy Easter everyone!
I wish everyone an amazing day and that you enjoy your 4 day long weekend! Or at least what's left of it...but don't worry! It's not like we've got anywhere to go, right? I wanted to bring a very important subject to your attention. Due to COVID-19, small businesses are struggling to maintain and keep themselves alive. A particular business - Creditview Stables - is in grave danger. They have 15 amazing school horses that still need to be taken care of, despite all riding classes being cancelled. This means that they're source of income has been cut off, but the expenses that need to be spent on for the horses don't cease to exist. It is now that I'm asking you to try to help these horses so that the 50 year legacy of Creditview Stables can live on. All the staff and students would be grateful for any donation! Below, you can visit the website and donate to help these horses. We're grateful for any donation, no matter the size!
Thank you to everyone who donates!

4/8/2020 0 Comments Online Schooling beginsHello there!
The week of April 6th, online schooling in the Peel District School Board started - 3 hours per course per week. So far, I've been loaded with Math, English and Science homework, but it's all good. I'm trying to stay on top of it. I spend some time outside in my backyard when the weather is nice, just to get some fresh air, and I try to keep busy with chores and other personal hobbies like writing, reading, and watching TV (I'm sure everyone does that last one, it's pretty fun, eh?) I hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying their time at home. Try to make the best of it! And kids, do your homework! You'll thank yourself for it :D There's a new breakthrough in the COVID-19 pandemic research! A tiger at New York's Bronx zoo tested positive for COVID-19 after getting infected by any one of many zoo employees, and they're not sure who. Nadia, the tiger, also infected other lions and tigers, and after running tests for COVID-19, results were positive. She began to show signs of illness such as a dry cough, on March 27, and she is the one with the most severe case, but all cats are expected to recover.
This indicates that it is possible for humans to infect animals and for them to become carriers of the virus, making it more contagious and dangerous than ever. Please stay home unless absolutely necessary! For those with pets, please be more careful when taking them out and try to keep a safe distance from everyone else! 4/3/2020 0 Comments Update on the pandemicHello everyone!
As you know, during this difficult time we're all told to stay at home to try to limit and slow the spread of COVID-19. There are now over 1 million cases of the virus globally and many countries like Italy, Germany and Pakistan have prolonged their lockdowns. 6.6 million people in the U.S. have filed for unemployment last week, as well as 243 000 cases reported and over 5900 deaths. Please try your best to wash your hands regularly and go out as little as possible. Stay safe everyone! 3/31/2020 0 Comments Welcome to Milena's Blog!Hello there!
